HouseCalls Calling Canceled Patients
The puzzling dilemma of HouseCalls calling patients who have already canceled may be created by a slip of the finger. If you accidentally enter the wrong year in your subgroup of patients to call, future calling pages are created. When you then set up HouseCalls for the day, the names already erroneously on the page are added to the newly imported names. Since the names that were already on the page may have been scheduled in advance, it is possible that some of them may have canceled since the page was accidentally created. Televox has provided the following instructions to clearing future calling pages of invalid/cancelled appointments and ensure accurate calling:
1. Double-click on the HouseCalls icon.
2. Choose the Maintenance menu and select Database Utilities.
3. Select Clear Calling Page for Multiple Days.
4. Change the date to reflect how far in the future you would like to clear the calling pages. Example: If you enter the date of December 31, 2001 it will clear all calling pages through December 30, 2001.
