I would like to thank every Ortho2 support member for being so pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. I have nothing to say but good things about the staff there. You must teach customer service to your staff! I would gladly recommend Ortho2 most definitely. I would also like to express thanks to our Systems Consultant, Steve Roberts. He is always polite, never pushy, and is always helpful and available to send quotes as we plan our conversion to ViewPoint. We have been with Ortho2 since 1987.

I love the system and your support. I personally have enjoyed using ViewPoint and find it very easy to use. The merge documents portion is great and I have rarely needed assistance, but when I have had a question, Ortho2 Support has been very helpful.

We use all of the ViewPoint applications to the maximum and everything is going well. If we find something we need, we'll call in an enhancement request and find a work-around in the meantime. Two things set Ortho2 apart from the competition: 1) You welcome input for enhancements to the program and respond to our requests, and 2) You have stayed consistent with your personal touch in customer service. I have talked with customers of other companies and have observed these differences. That's why we stay with Ortho2.

Their software and hardware support are great. They’re never more than a phone call away if you need them. It’s been a great asset to my practice to have Ortho2 and to have converted to that system. It really streamlines everything about practice management.

At the training session when we actually learned all about the Ortho2, it seemed to bring the staff together. There are so many times where the clinical staff and the front desk staff, they just don’t feel like they’re working together, so they both were involved in setting up procedure codes. They both tend to really work together on that and so that really helped my office staff a lot. So for me, the treatment charting was just a phenomenal thing to go into.

This system is extremely user-friendly and user-definable. Ortho2 has helped us to grow our practice, as well as grow with us, as they are always enhancing, and very much open to any suggestions or requests that we might have. The base of this system, the biographical information of the patients, the financial information, billing, receivables, insurance, from an accounting background is wonderful. Easy to identify different stats that my doctors might want, easy, again, to be user-definable. The On-Deck module is an excellent marketing tool. The grid scheduler, which is my absolute favorite, can be as simple or as complex as you would like it to be. The best part about Ortho2 is the software people. The people that have written it, the development team, the support team, the hardware support, the software support. Our office calls them often, from the most complex situation to the simplest of helping with this question. The development team, as I said previously, is always very open to new suggestions, and if something isn’t already available, they sure will work on it to make it work for your office. I think you’re the best!

R&D: I don’t know of a company who works harder to make their product better. The combination of software support, hardware support, and always looking to make their product better is so important for us to run our practice better. I think that just looking at the modules that are included now from VP Fingerprint to the backup system that’s going to be included to the little things like the to-do list and reminder; those are all add-ons and benefits of being part of Ortho2 and using their software. As a 15 year user I couldn’t be happier with our system.

In 1985 I first came on board with Ortho2 and it’s been a wonderful experience and I’d just like to say that in all that time, in 21 years, we have never had a major problem with our software system, or our hardware system for that matter. It’s been a wonderful experience with Ortho2 and I commend Dan Sargent for the dedication that he’s had in putting this program together. He’s been very thorough; he’s been very receptive to enhancements which have really made the program what it is today. He listens to those that use the system and have suggestions. It’s a very dynamic program and keeps up with the changes in technology and the changes in the way that the current orthodontic practices are run. My thoughts are that I’ve enjoyed Ortho2 immensely and would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering instituting a software program, a management program in their office.
